If you would like to request an invitation letter from the Water Environment Federation for your visa application, you must first register for the WEFTEC conference. Once you have registered online, you may request your invitation letter at the end of your registration session or you may submit a written request to firstname.lastname@example.org.

No. A transfer of your full registration to another individual is permitted prior to the conference by submitting written request to WEFTEC@experient-inc.com by August 31, 2020. Substitutions needed after August 31 must be done onsite.
Onsite transfers must be accompanied by proof of the original confirmation letter. The individual submitting the transfer request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due or difference between member and non-member rates) associated with that substitution. Funds from this program cannot be transferred to another program. Registrants must transfer their entire registration to a new person, not just a portion. Badge sharing and splitting are strictly prohibited.
Please note: Once the substitution is complete, you will not be able to cancel for a refund.
WEF accepts the following forms of payment:
- Credit cards: VISA, MasterCard and American Express
- Full payment is due at the time of registration
- Registrants will receive an immediate email confirmation/receipt, after they register online
- Check Payments: Company or personal checks made payable, in US dollars, to the Water Environment Federation. WEF charges a $25 non-refundable application fee per registrant to process check payments. Individuals that select the check option are not considered confirmed registrants until full payment is received and processed.
- Best Rate Check Payment Deadline: Check payment for Individuals that register during the Best Rate period, must submit their check by July 12, 2019. If payment is not received by July 12, individuals will be charged the higher rate (Standard Rate).
- Standard Rate Check Payment Deadline: Check payment for Individuals that register during the Standard Rate period, must submit their check by August 30, 2019. If payment is not received by the postmarked date of August 30, individuals must pay onsite at McCormick Place.
When paying with a check, attendees must first complete the online registration indicating that they are paying with a check. Once complete, attendees must print the online registration invoice, attach payment, and mail to the following address:

Self-registration is available onsite for Exhibition Only conference registrants. Using a laptop station, registrants will enter all of their information and print their badge before entering the show floor. Exhibition Only Self-Registration will be located at the Convention Center.
All conference registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing to WEFTEC@experient-inc.com by August 31, 2020; telephone requests WILL NOT be honored. A refund of all fees, minus a 25% service fee, will be given for cancellations received by that date. Cancellations received after August 31, and registrants who fail to attend the conference are liable for the full registration fees.

To defray costs associated with the rising volume of badge replacements, WEF has instituted a badge replacement cost of $25. Replacement tickets (facility tours and ticketed events), once issued, will not be replaced if lost or stolen. A new ticket would need to be purchased.
Just like an airline e-ticket, registrants can scan the confirmation barcode right from their smartphone or simply print and bring the confirmation with them to any Badge Pickup counters onsite. In some cases you will need to enable images so that the barcode will display. Once the barcode is scanned the registrant’s badge is produced instantly. A lanyard and conference materials will be issued onsite. Photo ID (driver’s license, passport or government issued photo ID) may be required. Express Badge Pickup locations and hours will be announced at a later date.
If you register online with a credit card, you will immediately receive an electronic confirmation of your registration from Experient-inc. Individuals that select the check option will receive a confirmation when the check payment is received and processed.
If you mailed a check payment and have not received a confirmation within 10 business days, please contact WEFTEC Customer Service at WEFTEC@experient-inc.com.
No. In support of sustainability and promoting environmentally friendly alternatives, name badges and tickets are not mailed in advance. All pre-registrants will use Badge Pick-up onsite.

Convention Management Resources, Inc. (CMR) has managed WEFTEC hotel reservations on behalf of the Water Environment Federation (WEF) for over 15 years. Reservations at the negotiated WEFTEC rates can only be made through CMR. WEF does not authorize or endorse any other housing service or independent broker. Your primary WEFTEC Housing contact is CMR. WEF can assist with general inquiries.
