This seminar will discuss the analysis framework of life cycle cost for both green infrastructure and gray infrastructure and associated decision support tool. In addition, the seminar will cover the framework and a supporting tool for quantifying the co-benefits of implementing green infrastructure and evaluating its economic, environmental and social values. Participants will learn from an EPA-funded project entitled "Community-enabled Lifecycle Analysis of Stormwater Infrastructure Costs (CLASIC)", along with related projects on "Framework and Tools for Quantifying Green Infrastructure Co-Benefits" and "Stormwater BMP Operation & Maintenance Cost Tracking Protocols". Participants will then have opportunities to provide feedback on the new CLASIC tool and GI Co-Benefits framework to help determine the preferred outputs to enhance usability for utilities and municipalities to evaluate their mix of gray and green infrastructure for better decision-making.
