WEFTEC stands for the Water Environment Federation's Technical Exhibition and Conference
Since its formation in 1928, the Water Environment Federation (WEF) has held annual meetings to provide a forum for knowledge and technology exchange within the water and wastewater fields.
Over the years, WEFTEC has not only grown in the size of exhibits and technical sessions but has also become the world’s leading water quality conference. Join a community of innovators, experts, and leaders at WEFTEC!

With more than 20,000 people attending, the insights and answers you want at WEFTEC are waiting for you to find.
At WEFTEC, you can attend more than 120 technical sessions and 17 in-depth workshops, covering everything you need to stay ahead in the water sector. The education program is rigorously reviewed and curated by more than 240 water sector experts to ensure the most relevant, interesting, and well-crafted presentations make it into the program.
You also can earn continuing education units (CEUs) for participating to keep your license up-to-date while getting the best learning from water sector leaders.
Featured education events at WEFTEC include the Opening General Session, the WEF/AEESP Master Lecture, and important regulatory updates from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
