Be sure to visit the new Drinking Water Pavilion and SDG 6 Theater! This new spot in the exhibition will feature insights into all aspects of the one-water universe from drinking water to community capacity, water resources management, and circular economy.
The exhibitors who have chosen the Drinking Water Pavilion focus on drinking water treatment and/or distribution systems. Their products, services, and expertise will be complemented by the related presentations in the SDG 6 Theater (Booth No. 761).
This pavilion will hold 25-minute sessions centered around the SDGs, touching on topics related to all 17 goals, such as SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-Being, SDG 5 – Gender Equality, SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals to name a few. The main focus will be on SDG 6 and its targets:
- Safe Affordable Drinking Water (6.1)
- Equitable Sanitation and Hygiene (6.2)
- Water Reuse (6.3)
- Water Efficiency (6.4)
- Integrated Water Resource Management (6.5)
- Source Water Protection (6.6)
Why SDG 6?
The Water Environment Federation (WEF; Alexandria, Virginia) is a UN-Water Partner and supports the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by actively engaging and collaborating with its members and strategic partners.
WEF’s commitment to advancing the SDG’s, especially SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), is visible through the daily work carried out by the water sector, such as the operators who are at the front lines in the protection of public health.
