On Tuesday, October 19, we will honor all this year’s award recipients at the WEF Awards and Presidential Ceremony and Celebration on the Main Stage at McCormick Place.
Each year, WEF is proud to present a variety of awards recognizing hard work in protecting one of the world's most valuable resources. Award recipients are individuals and organizations that contribute to the sustainability of water resources and make a profound impact on the future of the world’s water through involvement with water professionals and education.
These 2021 awards include recognitions for
- the 15 WEF Fellows inducted this year;
- Water Professionals and Organizations for Service and Contributions;
- Excellence in Infrastructure Operation, Design, Promotion; and
- Outstanding Published Papers and Public Education Efforts.
Also during the program, WEF 2020–2021 President Lynn Broaddus will share remarks and then "pass the gavel" to WEF 2021–2022 President Jaime Eichenberger, who will share his thoughts on the coming year of WEF and the water sector.
The WEF Awards and Presidential Ceremony and Celebration will take place from 5:00 to 5:45 p.m., on Tuesday, October 19, on the Main Stage (s100) at McCormick Place in Chicago.
