Maile Lono-Batura, Director of the WEF Sustainable Biosolids Program, talks about the Year of Poo campaign and how communities are learning about the relationship between biosolids and the circular economy.
Communicating effectively and proactively about water issues, particularly biosolids, has never been more important. Lono-Batura shared her thoughts on the state of biosolids communications, highlighted the Year of Poo and Poo and U campaigns, and talked about tools available for all to use to communicate more effectively. She also discussed a new biosolids special that aired on PBS in the fall.
